Delivery was on time and the stacking was well worth it!!! Great pieces of wood also!

I can't recommend Five Star Firewood enough./. I was tired of everyone advertising seasoned wood and then listening to the hissing sound of the wood as it tried to stay lit. I have gotten over 2 cords from them and the delivery is easy and the wood is perfect.

These guys are the best. Friendly staff and reliable delivery on short notice in the middle of winter…..have ordered from them twice this season and will continue to use them in the future.

Five Star Premium Kiln Dried Mixed Hardwood Firewood

We reached out to 5 or 6 firewood vendors trying to find one that would sell us “single source” wood, meaning a specific species, because we have allergies that we needed to test for. This was the only company that responded, and they agreed to sell us three bundles, each of a different type of wood. We drove out there to pick them up, and they gave them to us instead. It was a HUGE help as there was a really bad reaction to one of the three. We ordered a 1/2 cord of oak and some kindling, and they even agreed to make sure the kindling was all oak to avoid any allergic reaction. Delivery was made two days later. Driver (Dan) was super nice and helpful and communicated with us via text when he was headed our way. We are so pleased with this company and will continue to order from them in the future!

Kiln dried hardwood is the way to go. Customer service is very responsive to any issues or questions you may have.

The delivery guy was very friendly Nice even size pieces that were easy to stack. And the delivery came really fast. Last time we got oak and it was super. Dried well and burned evenly. This time we decided to try cherry since it is supposed to burn even longer.

This is the sixth order with Five Star. Their wood is well seasoned, perfectly split, and burns very well. Definitely the best place to get firewood from in the entire NCR.

Talk about easy. Ordered late one evening and the next morning got a text saying I'll be there today and he text again saying he will be with me within 2 hours. He stacked the wood and did a good job. Most impressed.

Order online, quietly delivered neatly wrapped bundles of nicely dried wood at the door, text message telling you the wood was delivered.

I called on Sunday and the wood arrived on Tuesday before a winter storm. It was very much appreciated.

I placed in an order and received 1/2 cord kiln-dried firewood the very next day on my driveway. Driver was very friendly. Arrived on time.

The bundles are easier to stack and carry into the house. The bundles are clean
and they burn nice in the fireplace but I haven't used them in the wood stove yet.
