Very happy with Five Star's Premium 100% Hickory Kiln Dried Firewood. It burns clean with minimal smoke compared to the seasoned wood I used previously. I checked the wood with a hydrometer and it's consistently below 6% which verifies that it's kiln dried. Seasoned wood is usually in the 15% range. Half the moisture = half the smoke. I can't say it's smoke-free but it's as close as I've ever had. To the point where people at my house comment on how nice the fire is without a ton of smoke in the air. Great wood!
Delivery was on time and the stacking was well worth it!!! Great pieces of wood also!
I can't recommend Five Star Firewood enough./. I was tired of everyone advertising seasoned wood and then listening to the hissing sound of the wood as it tried to stay lit. I have gotten over 2 cords from them and the delivery is easy and the wood is perfect.
These guys are the best. Friendly staff and reliable delivery on short notice in the middle of winter…..have ordered from them twice this season and will continue to use them in the future.
