The firewood was delivered and stacked as advertised w/ that payment option. Delivery was smooth and the worker paid attention to detail and did a great job. The wood was just as advertised. Wood burns nice and hot. Not one piece burned seemed damp in any way. I will definitely order again.
This is our 3rd year buying wood from Five Star Firewood. They are great so don’t let the review title throw you off. The only problem we have had is the lack of communication. From one day to the next they announced they would be arriving with our fire wood. A few days notification would be much better.

I am not a new customer but each and every time I experience a new level of service. Our most recent order was placed online late on a Friday evening while sitting by the fire. A little after 9:00am the next morning we were notified by text it was on the way. By 10:00am it was delivered and stacked. You won’t find better service anywhere. Kiln dried Hickory - Best Firewood in Virginia!!! Purchased the 1/2 Cord Hickory (kiln-dried), outstanding wood quality and customer service. Super fast delivery, driver was very professional and courteous when delivering. Delivery was overall perfect, and actually had just a bit more than the 1/2 cord, with a wheelbarrow of scraps left over...and the 2 free bundles of Kindling. Super service and quality kiln-dried wood!
